Malone University Athletics

Mizer, a 1969 Malone graduate, was a four- year starter for the Pioneer baseball team. He was the squad’s leading hitter in 1967 (412) and earned All Mid-Ohio Conference that year. He was named team MVP and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American as well that season. In addition, he is listed in the ’70 edition of the Outstanding College Athletes of America.

Mizer resides in Jefferson, Ohio and is currently teaching at Jefferson Local High School where he has been head basketball and baseball coach.
