Malone University Athletics

Robert W. Urey, a 1981 graduate of Malone, was a four-year letterman in track and field. When finished at Malone, he held the school record in the shot put (66') and the discus (194'7"). Urey was a six-time All-American in track and field. He was a 1981 qualifier in the USA Mobile Indoor National Championships and was National Champion for that year, being ranked 12th in the world.
