Blyer, a 1985 Malone graduate, was a four-year volleyball letterman inner at Malone and is currently the only Malone volleyball athlete to have earned NAIA All-American recognition having been selected to the Second Team in 1983. She also was tabbed NAIA All-American Honorable Mention in 1984. In addition, Blyer earned NAIA Academic All-American honors in each of those seasons. She was also voted Greater Ohio Conference First Team in 1982, 1983, and 1984 and also NAIA District 22 First Team in those same three seasons.

Where are they now?
Lori, now Lori Atkin, is self-employed with her own lawn care business. She is married to her husband David and resides in Canton.
