Deb Gaddis (Moyer), a 1994 Malone graduate (Physical Education), was a three-year letter winner in basketball at the College and also played tennis for two years at Malone. A 1986 graduate of Minerva High School, Moyer was a three-year letter winner in basketball and holds the school record for career points. She was a three-time First Team Senate League selection and a two-time First Team All NE Ohio and Senate League MVP recipient. In addition, she was named Third Team All-Ohio as a senior.

At Malone, Moyer was an outstanding team leader and guided Malone to records of 19-11 and 17-12 as a junior and senior. Despite playing in just 74 career games, she still ranks 15th on Malone’s all-time scoring list with 1162 points and her 15.7 points per game average for a career is sixth-best all-time for the program. A sharp three-point shooter, she made 67 three-pointers as a junior, which at the time was a school record. She also once scored an impressive 37 points against an outstanding Georgetown (KY) College team that season as well. Also, she earned NAIA All-District 22 First Team honors and was named the NCCAA East District MVP. In tennis, Moyer helped her team qualify for the NAIA national tournament as a senior. She also received All NAIA District 22 Singles Team honors as a junior and senior.

Moyer, who earned an MED in Sports Management at Cleveland State University in 1997, is self-employed. She and her husband, Don Gaddis, reside in South Euclid.
