Riley (Headings), a 1986 Malone graduate (B.S. in Social Work), was a four-year letter winner in volleyball at the college. A 1982 graduate of Jonathon Alder High School, she was named First Team All-Central Buckeye League as a senior. At Malone, playing from 1982-85, she played on the best Malone volleyball team ever -- the 1984 squad which compiled a record of 41-2 and placed 6th in the nation. As a sophomore, she was named the GOAC Defensive Player of the Year. As a senior, she was voted Honorable Mention NAIA District 22 and the team's co-captain and outstanding server. She also surpassed 1,000 career points. In addition, Riley served as coach of the Pioneer volleyball team from 1989 to 1993. 

Riley, who is coaching volleyball at Carrollton High School, resides in Minerva with her husband, Michael, and their four children, Hannah (9), Addie (8), Jacob (5) and Josiah (4).
