Jeff Jackson, a 2003 Malone graduate (Middle Childhood Education), was a three-year letterman on the Pioneer men's golf team, after transferring in from the University of Akron. He is also a 1998 graduate of Columbiana High School.

In his first year at Malone, in the fall of 1999, Jackson earned medalist honors at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament with a two-round total of 147 (77-70) to earn individual national champion honors and NCCAA All-America status. In addition, he led his team to the NCCAA National Championship. Then, in the spring, he helped lead Malone to its first and only NAIA national title as he paced the Pioneers at the national tournament with a team-best, a four-round total of 287 (69-75-71-72), which was one-under-par for the event. He earned NAIA All-America honors for his efforts.

The next season, Jackson helped Malone achieve back-to-back NCCAA national titles and, in the spring, was a member of Malone's third-place team at the NAIA National Championships. In his final season, he led the Pioneers to a second-place finish at the NCCAA national event by posting a team-best seventh-place individual finish to earn NCCAA All-America accolades.

In three seasons at Malone, Jackson competed in all six national championship events (3 NCCAA, 3 NAIA) and was part of the fourth-lowest scoring foursome in any tournament in Malone history when the Pioneers posted a 281 score in the second round of the 2000 NAIA National Championship.

Jackson is currently a seventh grade Math teacher and also the high school boys golf coach at Columbiana High School. He earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Malone in 2007. He and his wife, Amy, and their three children, Ellie (7), Maddie (5) and Lily (3), reside in Columbiana, Ohio.
