Williams, a 1974 Malone graduate, was a three-year basketball letterman at the college and holds several school records and even an NAIA national record.

"Bobcat" Williams was a high-energy point guard and one of the greatest ballhandlers, passers, and floor generals in Malone and MOC men's basketball history. His passing ability and court vision were nothing short of spectacular. Williams had a major impact on the outcome of every game he played because of his superior passing and dribbling skills, his continual pushing of the ball up the floor, and his ability to get the ball to the right player, at the right time and in the right place for high percentage shots.

Williams has the school mark in season assists (368) and career assists (904) and still holds the NAIA record for assists in a single game (26) which he set during the 1972-73 season. As a senior, he was named team MVP, First Team All Mid-Ohio conference, All NCCAA Mideast District and All-NAIA District 22 Honorable Mention. Williams was also a one year letterman in baseball at Malone.

Williams is currently working on a Masters's degree in Sports Science at Malone and is a teacher in Physical Education at Marlington High School. Williams, his wife Wendy, and their children Erin, Julie, and Drew reside in Minerva.
