Skello-Babrowicz, a 1988 Malone graduate (Bus. Admin & Phys. Educ.), was a four-year letterman in both cross country and track & field at the college. A 1982 graduate of Akron Springfield High School, she became the first NAIA All-American in Malone women’s cross country in 1986 and also earned the same honor in 1987. In addition, she was also a three-time NAIA All-American in track & field having collected the honor in the indoor 3-mile in both 1987 and 1988 and in the outdoor 5000 meters in 1987. She also was named a NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete for the 1986 track and field season.

Skello-Babrowicz and her husband, Robert, have two girls (6,3) and reside in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Marguerite is currently serving as cross country coach at Converse (SC) College.
