Hall of Fame
Pam Oswald, a 1995 Malone College graduate (Communications/Broadcasting), was a four-year letterwinner in basketball at the College. A 1991 graduate of Hiland High School, she compiled an 83-11 basketball record at Hiland while being named IVC First Team, Honorable Mention All-Ohio and District 5 First Team Division IV as a senior. While at Malone, Oswald had an outstanding career that placed her at or near the top of several statistical categories. She still holds the Malone record for most rebounds in a game (23 vs. Kenyon College 11/19/94). She is also second in all-time career rebounding with 1,127 rebounds and is only one of two Malone women’s athletes to average 10 rebounds per game for her career. No one else has averaged even eight per game. Oswald, who once earned the prestigious NAIA National Player of the Week honor as a sophomore, is also fourth on Malone’s all-time scoring list with 1,681 points. In addition, she earned numerous awards during her career, including NCCAA All East District Player of the Year and NCCAA All-American honors in 1993-94. As a senior in 1995, she was named to the All Mid-Ohio Conference Second Team and the NCCAA All-East District First Team.
