Pascual Blanco, a 1994 Malone graduate (Business Administration/Mathematics), competed in soccer for three years at Malone after graduating from El Castillo High School in Almansa, Spain. At Malone, he quickly became one of the top players in the program, leading the squad in total points in each of his three seasons while pacing Malone to its first three national tournament appearances of any kind as the squad earned three straight trips to the NCCAA national event.

In the 1991 through 1993 seasons, respectively, Blanco tallied 31 points (8 goals, 15 assists), 28 points (10 goals, eight assists) and an impressive 46 points, which included 15 goals and a school-record 16 assists, which still stands as a Malone record today. Blanco paced Malone to an unbelievable 52-18-7 overall record in his three seasons as a Pioneer. He was a three-time selection for the NAIA All-District 22 First Team, the NCCAA East First Team, and the NSCAA All-Ohio and All-Mideast Teams and was a two-time NCCAA All-America First Team recipient. In addition, he was named to the NSCAA All-America Second Team in 1992.

He currently resides in Miami, Florida and is the president of U.S. Operations with family-owned business Magnanni, Inc., a Spain-based company that designs and makes handcrafted footwear.
