The Malone University women's golf team captured its own Fall Invitational Sunday afternoon at the Alliance Country Club. Following Saturday's washout, the abbreviated event was played over 18 holes in less-than-favorable conditions on Sunday as the Pioneers earned their first win of the fall season.

From Head Coach Bill Eddins
"We are very proud of our team as they played a very difficult course under adverse conditions and made the most it.  It was a grind all day and we appreciate our players hanging in there and doing their best to stay positive and focus on one shot at a time."

Recap
Malone carded a team score of 347 on the par-71 course. The University of Mount Union was second with a 373, Ursuline College followed with a 379, and Ohio Valley University was fourth with a 382.
