Biography
2019 Fall: Justice played in 10 rounds in fall of 2019. Maddy sank nine birdies and had an impressive 86 pars on the season. She hit an average of 7 fairways per round and over 8 greens in regulation per round. Maddy averaged 34 putts per 18 holes and finished with a season average of 82.3. Maddy tied for 4th place at the Phipps Memorial shooting an 80 and had a 12th place finish at the GMAC Fall Preview (9/16-17/19) after posting a career-best round of 76 and two-day total of 154. Madison was also a member of the record-setting team that shattered 18 and 36 hole school records (304/615) at the Cumberland Trail Classic in Pastakala, Ohio. 2018-19: Maddy Justice played in 21 rounds (378 holes) for the Pioneers during her freshman campaign. She averaged an 87.4, including 16 birdies and 138 pars on the year. At the Perry Park Spring Fling (3/30/19), Maddy recorded the only eagle for the Pioneers in 2018-19! On the season, she averaged 7 fairways and 6 GIR. Justice shot an outstanding career-best round of 77 on Day 2 of the GMAC Championships (4/20/19). She was also a member of Malone’s record-setting 18-hole team score (321) at the Music City Invitational (10/22/18).
Biography: Madison (Maddy) is the daughter of Dorothy and Joe Justice. Maddy played for Coach Ashley Phipps at Lake Center Christian High School. Maddy is a Biology/Pre-Med major. She plans on attending Med School following graduation. The best part of Maddy's golf game is her driver and she is looking forward to improving her putting. Maddy admires pro golfer Jordan Spieth. Her "dream course" is anywhere in Hawaii. Off the course, Maddy loves Panda Express! Her parents are her most influential people in her life. Maddy's favorite Bible verse is Luke 1:45.
Prior To Malone: Justice was a four-year letterwinner for Lake Center Christian's golf team and was also a two-year member of the cheerleading squad. She registered an 18-hole average of 81.6 and a nine-hole average of 39.0 during her career. Justice collected numerous awards including being named the Portage Trail Conference Player of the Year in both 2016 and 2017. She was also a four-time All-Northeast Ohio selection, having garnered First Team honors in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and Second Team recognition in 2014. Justice was also a four-time Stark County First Team selection, a four-time Team MVP and a four-time team captain. In 2016, she was a recipient of the Distinguished Christian High School Student Award for Athletics from the Association of Christian Schools International. Justice has also excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-Ohio honors, the President's Award for Excellence, and the Scholar Athlete Award. She was Salutatorian of her graduating class with a 4.3 GPA. Madison received the Director's Award for violin and was a 12 year member of LCC's orchestra. She is also a member of the Honor Roll and serves as the Treasurer for Lake Center Christian's National Honor Society. Notably, Madison's father, Joe, competed for the Malone varsity wrestling team in 1982 and 1983.
