CANTON, Ohio - Malone University women's golf head coach
Bill Eddins has announced the signing of
Allie Miller. Miller played for one of Ohio's storied girls' golf programs, Medina Highland High School. The Hornets are coached by Mary Becker, who has led the program since its inception in 2007. Becker was tabbed Ohio Coach of the Year in 2021 and has coached numerous collegiate players during her outstanding career. Miller is the second player to choose Malone from Highland since 2016 (
Christina Williams).

Miller is a three-year varsity player who was selected as a Second Team All-Suburban League player in 2024-25 as well as an Honorable Mention selection of the Medina All-Gazette Team. Miller was a participant in this year's 2025 Division I Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) State Girl's Golf Tournament. Miller also earned Medina Country Club PGA Jr. League All-Star Team status this season.

Off the course, Miller has received the Suburban League Scholar-Athlete Award all four years of high school. She excels in the classroom and has been on Honor Roll for four consecutive years. Miller is a three-year member of National Honor Society, a two-year National Art Honor Society member and has been a two-year Peer Leader for elementary schoolers. Impressively, Miller has achieved the AP Scholar Award along with the College Board National Recognition Award. She is French Club co-president and has traveled abroad.

"She has tremendous character, she's an exceptional student and has great upside on the golf course where she has gained valuable experience playing for one of the top programs in the state. Miller will major in nursing at Malone. She is the daughter of proud parents Jarod and Laura Miller of Medina. Welcome Allie Miller!"
