Biography
2020 Fall: Lori shot an 87 in her only round of the fall at the Tiffin Invite (9/14/20), where the Pioneers won the event as a team.
2019-20: Lori played six rounds for the Pioneers in the fall of 2019. Michelle had 38 pars, hit over 7 fairways per round and averaged 37 putts per 18 holes. Michelle finished with a career-best 87.8 scoring average. Shell tied for 7th at the John Carroll Invite (9/14-15/19) with a 2-day total of 167 (83/84). Spring 2020 was canceled due to coronavirus.
2018-19: Lori played in 10 rounds as a sophomore for the Pioneers in 2018-19. Shell registered seven birdies and 54 pars while averaging 91.5 strokes per round. She also averaged 5 hit fairways and 5 GIR. Lori shot a season-best 82 at the Phipps Memorial (10/15/18), placing third overall. Michelle was a part of the team-record 18-hole team score (321) at the Music City Invitational (10/22/18)
2017-18: Michelle Lori played in 4 rounds for the Pioneers as a freshman in 17-18…she was part of the Lady Pioneers record setting team for 18 and 36 holes at Cumberland Trail Golf Classic…posted a Top 12 finish for the Red Team at Mount Union Women’s Fall Invite…averaged a 90 for the season and was 3rd on the team with the fewest chips for 18 holes with 8.
Biography: Michelle Lori (Lor-I) is the daughter of Dan Lori and Patricia Lori. Michelle is a 2017 graduate of Green High School. “Shell” is an English major at Malone. In high school, Michelle was a 1st team All-Conference performer and received Honorable Mention All-Northeast Ohio her senior year playing for head coach Jake Shocklee. Michelle loves her 60-degree club most and she wants to improve her driver. KFC is her favorite fast food and Papa John’s is Shell’s favorite pizza. A fan of Shakespeare, Michelle hopes to become a teacher and publish a book among other things in her professional career. Her dream spring break course is somewhere in Hawaii! Keegan Bradley and Graeme McDowell are her favorite professional golfers and J.J. Watt is Shell’s favorite athlete. When Michelle is not studying or working on her golf game, she can be found in the kitchen running her business, Shell’s Cupcakes!
