Wells, a junior from Beloit, Ohio (West Branch H.S.), had tremendous week at the plate, helping the Pioneers tally a 3-1 record. 

The junior outfielder tallied eight hits in 15 at-bats (.533) and slugged an incredible 1.467. Six of his eight hits went for extra bases including four home runs. In a two-game set with Northwood over the weekend, Wells went 5-for-9, hit three homers, scored three runs and drove in five.

On the week, he scored seven runs, totaled nine RBI and swiped a bag.
