Craciun helped the Pioneer baseball team win three out its four games against NAIA #8 Point Park (PA) University last week after batting .545 (six-for-11) with a stolen base, three runs scored, two doubles, a homer and four RBI's.
The senior leftfielder from Strongsville, Ohio had a huge impact in the second game of Friday's doubleheader at PPU, a contest Malone won by a 6-5 final in eight innings. Craciun went 3-for-4 at the plate in the extra-inning victory with a two-run homer in the fourth inning and an RBI double that drove in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth. The senior also threw out a runner at the plate in the bottom of the sixth.
On the season, Craciun is batting a team-high .407 (37-of-91) with 25 runs scored and 19 RBI's.
