Freshman Erika Lester from Hudson, Ohio (Cuyahoga Falls Christian Academy), playing in her first collegiate tennis match, did not lose a set in either singles or doubles en route to Malone’s 8-1 thrashing over Geneva College.

Lester, playing in the #1 singles position, cruised to an easy 6-0, 6-0 win over Geneva’s Julia Kline. She also teamed with junior Kaley Kahoun for an 8-0 victory.

The team moved to 1-0 with the victory and will take the courts again on Saturday, Sept. 8th at Saginaw Valley State (MI).
