Snyder led the Pioneer softball team to an 8-0, mercy-rule victory in game one of a home doubleheader against Urbana University on Friday.

The junior pitcher from Lima, Ohio allowed just two hits in the five-inning shutout while striking out two.

The Pioneers then completed a sweep of the Blue Knights by rallying for a 7-6, eight-inning victory in game two.

On the season, Snyder has compiled a 6-9 overall record with a 3.78 earned run average and 63 strikeouts.  Following Friday's strong outing, she has now tossed six complete games on the year, including three shutouts.
