The Malone University women's golf "Red Team" took part in the University of Mount Union Invitational on Saturday at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.

The tournament, originally slated for two days, was moved to a one-day, 18-hole format due to weather conditions.

Although Malone did not tally an "official" team score, all four Pioneers finished among the Top 30, including two among the Top 5.

Michelle Lori placed third overall with a round of 83 while Rachel Russell tied for fourth with an 84.

Grace Bartlow tied for 16th with a 92 and Kailee Perkins was 27th with a 99.

The Malone Red Team is slated to be back in action on April 7 at the John Carroll University Shootout in Hudson, Ohio.
