"We are taking away a lot of positives this weekend as we have a lot to build on," commented head coach
Bill Eddins. "I am proud of how we maintained our poise despite some frustration on the greens. Our sixth-place finish is our best since we started competing at this event, which always features a very competitive field. We thought a Top 5 performance was attainable, but we are really young and with more and more experience, we will keep getting better."
Individually,
Christina Williams placed seventh overall among a field of 69 student-athletes. Williams followed up her 83 on Friday with an 82 on Saturday for a final score of 165.
