Schuler, a sophomore from Massillon, Ohio (Jackson High School), set a new Malone indoor record at the Youngstown State University Invitational last Friday in the non team-scoring meet.

In the one mile race, Schuler crossed the finish line in a school-record time of 5:11.78 for a fifth-place finish among 24 runners competing.
