POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - The NCCAA has announced the women's volleyball recipients of the Scholar-Athlete designation prior to the start of the national championship event. The Malone University volleyball team had four representatives as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes.
 
To receive the Scholar-Athlete award, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and hold at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
 
Representing the Pioneers are Jaymes Gilbert, Jaclyn Jundzilo, Brianne Salinas and Laiken Wallick. It is the first time each of these student-athletes have received the postseason award.
