GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has announced the All-Region recipients for the 2025 NCCAA volleyball season. Junior middle hitter
Jaymes Gilbert of the Malone University volleyball team was tabbed as a First Team All-Midwest Region honoree.
The Wooster, Ohio native was also named Second Team All-Conference by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) for her efforts in the team's 16-match league slate as well as NCCAA Scholar-Athlete in the 2025 season. It was her first NCCAA All-Region accolade of her career.
Gilbert had a breakout season for the 6-21 Pioneers as a six-rotation player. She led the squad with 284.0 points, 222 kills, a .306 hitting percentage and 73.0 blocks throughout the season. The junior was also second on the team with 19 aces and 190 digs.
In the final weekend of the season, Gilbert crossed the 500-kill mark and her career hitting percentage of .248 would break the NCAA DII era record for the program. Gilbert's 233.0 blocks in her career is the fifth-most since 2012.
