East West: Tuesday will mark the first-ever meeting between the Pioneers and the Phantoms from East-West.
WV State: Malone held on for a 77-76 victory over West Virginia State last November in the first and only meeting between the two teams. Guard

-The Pioneers (1-2) notched their first win of the season on Saturday as they tallied a convincing 82-54 triumph in their home opener against Kentucky State University
-Malone registered a 13-4 record on Hal Smith Court last season and will look to improve to 2-0 at historic Osborne Hall on Tuesday
-For the second consecutive game, the Pioneers shot over 40% from beyond the arc, making nine of 22 three-pointers in Saturday's contest. Daylan Haynie totaled 11 points, six rebounds and six assists on Saturday. The junior is averaging 8.7 points, 6.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game so far and leads the G-MAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (5.0)
