CANTON, Ohio - Tae Gibbs and the Malone University men's basketball program have announced a pair of additions to their coaching staff. The Pioneers introduce Nick Newland as an assistant coach and Ian Travis as a graduate assistant coach.
 
"We're excited to welcome Coach Newland to our staff and the Malone Basketball family," Coach Gibbs said. "His knowledge of the game, experience recruiting in Ohio and strong relationships throughout the state really stood out during the hiring process. His experience as an assistant coach in a competitive NAIA conference, along with his leadership and organizational skills, will be a tremendous asset to our program. We're beyond excited about the impact Nick will have here at Malone."

"Having served as a student manager, Ian has a genuine passion for Malone University and a strong connection to our basketball program.
