At the Walsh University Invitational this past weekend, Taylor, a junior from East Canton, Ohio (East Canton H.S.),  set a personal-best mark of 175' 2" in the discus (third place in the event) which puts him in the third spot on the school's all-time top-ten performer list. The mark was also an NCAA Div. II national provisional qualifying mark.
