Misak, a freshman from Bethel Park, PA, had an excellent meet at The College of Wooster Invitational last Thursday through Saturday to help the Malone men to a third-place finish among the nine-team field.
He posted two individual first-place finishes in the 100 backstroke (49.68) and in the 200 backstroke (1:50.30), both of which were meet records, school records and NCAA Div. II B cut times. He also placed third in the 50 freestyle in 21.01 seconds.
In addition, he was a member of four first-place Pioneer relay teams at the Invite, in which all four times set new Malone school records.  In the 200 and 400 medley relays, Misak posted leadoff backstroke split times of 23.59 and 50.43, respectively, as both team times met the B cut standard (with the 400 being a meet record).
In the 200 and 400 free relays, his splits times were 20.36 and 46.11 as Malone set two meet records while pocketing a B cut time in the 200 free relay.
