Fisher, a junior from Canton, Ohio (McKinley H.S.), helped Malone to a team victory among 11 teams at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational last Saturday as she was a double winner on the day.
Fisher took first in the 400-meter hurdles in a new school-record time of 1:03.34, breaking the old mark of 1:03.5 (K. Arthur, 2001). In addition, Fisher's winning time was also a new stadium record at the Muskingum meet as she easily broke the previous mark of 1:06.21 set in 2004.
In the final women's event of the meet, Fisher was a member of the Pioneers' 4x400-meter relay unit (Hannah Boss, Crystal Barber, Erika Rector, Fisher) that captured the race, among nine teams represented, in a new meet-record time of 4:05.67, eclipsing the old mark of 4:06.54 set in 2012.
