CHARLESTON, W.V. - Due to inclement weather, the third and final round of the UC Invitational has been canceled. As a result, the tournament has been declared official after 36 holes.

The Malone University women's golf team finished eighth overall with a two-round score of 650 (318-332). The University of Charleston won the event by three strokes and totaled 508 (302-296).

The next event for the Pioneers is on Friday, September 11 when the red team competes at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria Country Club.
