CANTON, Ohio - At the Phipps Memorial, the Malone University men's golf team placed second at 309 with the team champion being Walsh University at 292.

Camden Horning and
Jaxon Rinkes were tied for the best Pioneer A-team score at 76. Horning recorded an eagle on the par-5 10th hole at Glenmoor Country Club and Rinkes had a pair of birdies.
Carter Miller also had a 76 on the Malone B-team with an eagle on that same hole and three additional birdies.

Fletcher Cravens (78) and
Ryan Yoder (79) were the other two scoring members for the Pioneers on the A-team. Cravens had two birdies, both of which coming on par-5's and finished 12th. Yoder scored a 14th-place finish.
Brady Johnson was 20th with an 81 and three birdies on his scorecard.

The men's golf team is back in action in split squad action for their final tune-up before the conference championship tournament. The Pioneers take the course on Saturday, April 11 at the Bill Blazer Memorial Match Play and Mount Union Spring Invitational.
