INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Makenna Jurkowski, a junior flyer and tumbler on the Malone University STUNT team, was selected as the Athlete of the Week in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). The North Canton, Ohio native becomes the first Pioneer to be named the STUNT Athlete of the Week by the G-MAC.
 
Malone was able to defeat Tiffin University by a score of 23-21, marking the first time the program defeated the Dragons in their three-year history. The Pioneers also suffered a loss at Davenport University, 34-11. Jurkowski was on the mat for all 34 points, including a key 1-0 win on routine seven of partner stunts against Tiffin.
 
The final regular season home game for Malone STUNT will come against Walsh University on Wednesday, March 18. The action begins in Osborne Hall at 7:00 P.M.
