ASHLAND, Ohio - The Malone University STUNT team won a pair of games on Sunday to conclude their efforts at the Ashland STUNT Invite. The Pioneers (15-6) defeated Misericordia University (5-6) by a score of 28-13 and topped Ferris State University (8-6) 26-17.

MALONE vs MISERICORDIA RECAP:
The Pioneers began play in partner stunts by taking points in three of the first four routines. The 3-1 lead would be extended to 9-3 at halftime after they outscored the Cougars in all four routines of pyramids and tosses.

In jumps and tumbling, Misericordia attempted a comeback, but Malone did enough to retain a 15-8 advantage. The Pioneers would pull away from their opponents in team routine. A 13-5 difference in scoring led to the 28-13 win.

MALONE vs FERRIS STATE RECAP:
The Bulldogs got out to an early lead at 5-3 following partner stunts. The Pioneers rebounded well in pyramids and tosses and claimed an 11-9 lead at halftime. Malone took three out of four jumps and tumbling routines to go up 16-12 and a key sweep in team routine one helped propel the Pioneers to a 26-17 triumph.
