CANTON, Ohio – The Malone University men's soccer team is in preparation for the 2025 season. The Pioneers are coming off a 5-9-3 campaign in 2024 under Head Coach Bill Lawrence.
 
Malone begins the year with the same three non-conference opponents on the schedule from one season ago. Roberts Wesleyan University and Daemen University come to Pioneer Park on September 4 and 6 followed by a road contest at the California University of Pennsylvania on September 10. The Pioneers were 3-0-0 in those matches in 2024 and look for the same success this season.
 
Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play kicks off with a road match at Thomas More University on September 18 and then the team returns home to face the defending regular season champion Tiffin University on September 20. The month of September concludes with matches at Lake Erie College (September 25) and versus Cedarville University (September 27).
 
The contest against Cedarville sparks a five match out of six streak of games all held at Pioneer Park. Kentucky Wesleyan College visits the eastern time zone for a match on October 2 before the lone road game at Ashland University on October 4. From there, it will be three in a row at home against Ohio Dominican University (October 9), Walsh University (October 11) and the University of Findlay (October 14). The rivalry game against Walsh will mark the program's senior day as well as the 2025 Malone Homecoming & Family Weekend.
 
Four of the final five matches of the regular season will come on road trips. The Pioneers make return trips to Ohio Dominican on October 16 and Cedarville on October 18 prior to the team's final home match of the year against Lake Erie on October 30. Games at Northwood University (November 1) and Walsh (November 4) conclude the 2025 regular season.
