HILLSDALE, Mich. – After knocking off Kentucky Wesleyan College in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament Quarterfinal Round, the Malone University men's basketball team has advanced to the Semifinal Round at Hillsdale College this weekend.
The Pioneers will face the host Chargers on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 P.M. The winner of that game will move on to the G-MAC Tournament Championship Final on Saturday, March 8. Tip-off for that contest would be at 3:00 P.M. Tickets for the event can be found

Malone defeated Kentucky Wesleyan by a score of 72-62 in the G-MAC Qaurterfinals.
Simon Blair led the charge on offense with 24 points.
Tahleik Walker pulled down a team-high nine rebounds and
Tre Baumgardner III dished out six assists.
This game will be a rematch of the regular season finale where Hillsdale was victorious 61-49. The Chargers won the fast break points 16-0 and points in the paint 34-24. Blair had 21 points and four assists in the loss to lead the team in both categories.
The Pioneers enter the G-MAC Semifinal Round with a 14-15 record. Hillsdale is now 20-9 overall after they defeated Ashland University by a score of 76-59 in the Quarterfinal Round.
