GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has announced the recipients of the Scholar-Athlete award from men's and women's basketball. Malone's men's basketball team had four honorees and eight from the women's basketball team were tabbed as Scholar-Athletes.
 
Jake Bruns, Jailin Johnson, Josiah Pierre and Nic Williams received the award from the Malone men's basketball team. Bruns is now a two-time NCCAA Scholar-Athlete. The Malone women's basketball team was represented by Nataley Armstrong, Brinn Hunt, Erin Kaufman, Anna Krupa, Irene Maroto, Aila Miller, Elena Oliver and Meredith Randulic. Aromstrong, Hunt, Kaufman, Krupa, Miller and Randulic were 2025 NCCAA Scholar-Athletes as well.
 
In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a 3.40 grade point average or higher and must be a junior, senior or graduate student.
