TRES ARROYOS, Argentina - Malone University men's basketball alumni
Tre Baumgardner III has signed a professional contract with Basquet Costa Sud in Tres Arroyos, Argentina.

"I'm extremely grateful to be able to start my professional career. It's something I always dreamed of doing when I was a kid," Baumgartner III said. "To be able to play basketball and travel the world is a blessing to say the least. I'm excited to start this next chapter!"

During the 2024-25 season with the Pioneers, Baumgardner III averaged 13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. The Columbus, Ohio native helped Malone to a G-MAC Tournament Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the second in program history. He was named G-MAC All-Tournament Team after scoring 25 points and hitting seven three-point field goals in the G-MAC Championship Game versus Thomas More University.
