Yoder Named NCCAA All-American; Men's Golf Places Sixth

PALM COAST, Fla. - The Malone University men's golf team finished sixth at the NCCAA Men's Golf National Championships with a total score of 906 (311-298-297). Ottawa University Arizona (UOAZ) claimed the national title with a 285 in the third round to come from behind for the victory.
 
A stellar third round by Ryan Yoder helped propel the sophomore to NCCAA All-American honors. He went 1-under 71 in round three to finish in a tie for eighth at 222 (77-74-71). Yoder was bogey-free on the back nine and eagled the par-5 18th hole with two birdies on the front nine.
 
Two-time NCCAA All-American Jaxon Rinkes tied for 12th with a score of 225 (79-74-72). He made a push for his third All-American award with an even-par third round that featured an eagle on hole 18 and three birdies.
 
Alfie Cracker finished his first national tournament at 227 (75-74-78). He had one birdie on Wednesday's scorecard. Carter Miller completed the event with a 232 (80-76-76). Miller had one birdie to match his day two mark. Easton Hamrick scored a 239 (81-76-82) with two birdies.
 
The Pioneers will be back in action for the spring season as the team prepares for the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship event on April 20-22.
