HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The NCCAA has announced the recipients of the All-Midwest Region for women's soccer.
Brynn Mowrer and
Madison Woodward were named as All-Midwest Region by the NCCAA.
Those two student-athletes were pivotal in the Pioneers reaching the postseason in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament and a 9-8-1 overall record.
The junior forward Mowrer led Malone in scoring with a team-high four goals and three assists (11 points). The Burbank, Ohio native was credited with three game-winning goals and had two matches with multiple points scored.
Woodward, a senior defender from Columbia City, Indiana, played a team-high 1,613 minutes and helped on five shutouts on the year, a new record for the NCAA DII era. Woodward was also named Academic All-District from the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
