Box Score CANTON, Ohio. – The Malone University women's basketball team (3-3, 0-0 G-MAC) defeated Slippery Rock University (0-2, 0-0 PSAC) by a score of 74-57 on Tuesday evening, November 28 in Osborne Hall.

Slippery Rock led 17-14 after the first quarter but the Pioneers turned things around in the second quarter and throughout the second half. The Pioneers out-rebounded The Rock 44-22 throughout the game, which ultimately led to 16 second-chance points for the hosts.


Inside the Box Score

Erin Kaufman led the way for the Pioneers with 17 points, eight rebounds, and a steal.

Aila Miller had 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Kyli Horn had 13 points, two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Brooklyn Troyer added nine points, six boards, and an assist.

Brinn Hunt had a great night as she hauled in 12 rebounds and added four assists to go with three points.


What's Next

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday, December 2 as they host Lake Erie College to open G-MAC play. Tip off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Osborne Hall.
