INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- On Wednesday, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the results of their 2022 Great Midwest Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Pioneers were picked to finish fifth out of seven teams in the north division, receiving 40 total points in the voting conducted by league's coaches.
Hillsdale College was picked as the overwhelming favorite in the north division with 11 first-place votes. The University of Findlay and Walsh University each also received a first-place vote in the division.
In the south division Ashland University slotted into first place with twelve first-place votes, and 72 points overall. Trevecca Nazarene University, who was picked second, also received one first-place vote.
