LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Malone University women's golf team competed in the 2022 Great Midwest Women's Golf Championship held on Monday and Tuesday at the University Club - Big Blue Course.
With a 54-hole team score of 1036, the Pioneers finished in seventh place in the nine team field.
The University of Findlay won the league title by virtue of a tiebreaker in the medal match play round.
MALONE RESULTS
The Pioneers fired their best team score of the day in the opening round. The 330 total had them sitting in third place on the leaderboard.
Individually,
Christina Williams' 54-hole score of 238 placed her in a tie for seventh place on the leaderboard. That mark placed her on the all-conference team for the fourth time in her highly decorated Malone career.
