Junior Season (2020-21): Named a WGCA All-American Scholar... Named to the Great Midwest Academic All-Conference Team... Played in her first full season and concluded year playing 324 holes and 18 rounds. Had 12 birdies and 136 pars. All-Tournament team at OVU in the fall. Shot collegiate career low round in spring with a 77 at Cav Classic. Career best 84.17 average.

Sophomore Season (2019-20): Named to the Great Midwest Academic All-Conference Team... Redshirt season.

Freshman Season (2018-19): Played collegiately at The University of the South (Sewanee). 

High School: Hunter Farrell joined the Malone Women’s Golf team in the 2019-20 season. Hunter is the daughter of Jason and Stephanie Farrell. Hunter graduated high school from Clarksville Academy in Clarksville, TN. At Clarksville Academy, Hunter captained the girls’ golf team her junior and senior seasons where she and her team experienced unprecedented success. Hunter led her team to 3 consecutive District Championships along with back-to-back Regional Championships and a runner-up finish in 2017. In 2016, Hunter was Regional Runner-up and earned a Top 25 finish in the Tennessee High School State Tournament. In 2017, Hunter was District Champion, 4th Regionally and 4th in the state. Clarksville finished 3rd in the state as a team in 2017 and Hunter was named MVP. Hunter also excelled in Cross Country and was awarded MVP her senior season as well. She ran in Regionals all 4 years and placed 25th in Regionals as a senior. 

Hunter is equally talented off the course as she is an accomplished pianist. She’s been playing piano since she was 7 years old. Hunter was very active in extracurricular activities at Clarksville and was a member of the Model United Nations and Youth in Government (she wrote a Bill as a junior regarding parking for pregnant women using handicapped spaces that was signed by the Governor of the Conference). Hunter was a member of FCA and Future Business Leaders of America. She was also a 4-year member of NHS at Clarksville Academy. 

Personal: Majoring in English Education.
