WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MALONE UNIVERSITY
Roster | Schedule | Stats
  • Malone suffered their second G-MAC defeat of the season last week with an 81-70 loss at No. 20 Hillsdale College. The Chargers jumped out to a fifteen-point lead at halftime, and the Pioneers ran out of time to finish the comeback in the second-half.
  • Bryce Butler poured in a game-high 29 points at Hillsdale. He still has yet to score less than 15 points in any game this season, and is the team's leading scorer (and ranked third in the G-MAC) at 17.9 points per game.
  • Bo Myers (17.1 ppg) and Justin Miller (15.4 ppg) are also ranked inside the top-10 in scoring in the league. Myers netted 13 points against the Chargers, and needs just 10 points on Thursday to hit the 1,000 career point mark.
  • Marcus Ernst notched his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 16 rebounds against Hillsdale. He has pulled down double-digit rebounds in four straight games, and ranks second in the G-MAC averaging 9.5 rebounds per game.
  • Head Coach Casey Kaufman enters Thursday's contest with 99 career head-coaching wins in his seven-year career at Malone. One more win would make him just the third Pioneer coach to win at least 100 games during their career.
