CANTON, Ohio -- The Malone University women's soccer program is on the road again on Thursday. The Pioneers travel north to Ursuline College for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match.

MALONE-URSULINE SOCCER SERIES
Malone and Ursuline have met 13 prior times on the soccer pitch. The series has been very evenly matched with the Pioneers holding a slim 7-6 advantage in the overall series.
The Pioneers have won back-to-back meetings, including the most recent matchup, a 1-0 victory at home in Canton.
FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE PIONEERS
- The 1-0 win at Tiffin University on Tuesday gave Malone 13 Great Midwest Athletic Conference points. The Pioneers currently sit all alone atop the conference standings. Walsh is right behind with 12 points. There are two teams tied at 11 points and three others tied with 10.

Tuesday's win was also the second shutout on the season for the Pioneers. It was the first with Jessica Morgan in goal. She now has a 0.94 goal against average to go along with 28 saves.

Madeline Ault was credited with the lone goal of the game Tuesday. It was her G-MAC leading fifth of the season.
- With just three regular season matches left, Malone continues to be the top offense in the conference. The Pioneers have scored a league-high 12 goals this season. Those goals have come from seven different players.

The Pioneers do a good job with possession and putting pressure on the opponent. Malone is second in the G-MAC with 32 corner kick opportunities.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT
Ursuline enters play off of a 1-0 loss at Ohio Valley on Saturday. Prior to that the Arrows had picked up their lone win of the season on March 30 against Lake Erie.
The Arrows offense has only scored two goals this season. Hannah Pickens has one and Odessa Strizzi has the other.
Defensively Gina Cerny has played all 360 minutes in goal for Ursuline. She has a 1.5 goals against average, and has made 31 total saves.
WHAT'S NEXT
After playing two matches in the span of three days, the Pioneers have a bit of a break before their next game. Malone will travel to Cedarville University on April 15. Kick off is set for 4:30 p.m.
