The Malone University women's basketball team will look to extend its winning streak and bolster its postseason aspirations this week in a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) road games. The Pioneers, who won back-to-back games last week, will go for its first three-game win streak of the season this Thursday, January 31st at Ohio Dominican University before traveling to Ohio Valley University on Saturday, February 2nd.

Malone. at 6-7 in the G-MAC, represents one of six teams all within a game in the
G-MAC Standings who are vying for the final four spots in the Championship Tournament. The Pioneers are currently in a tie for ninth place while Ohio Dominican, at 7-6, is in sole possession of fifth. This Thursday's game could play a major determining factor in playoff seeding in the upcoming weeks.

Series History
Malone is 32-33 all-time against Ohio Dominican, including six straight losses. At home earlier this season, the Pioneers fell behind by 26 points in the first-half, closed to within three points in the fourth quarter, but eventually fell short, 64-55.

Against Ohio Valley, Malone is 6-2 all-time, including five consecutive victories. This past November, the Pioneers picked up a 76-51 home win over the Fighting Scots in which they forced a season-high 26 turnovers and came away with 17 steals.
Malone Notes
- Seven different Pioneers recorded at least two steals in that win over Ohio Valley. Senior guard Chrissie Vaughan totaled four steals and a game-high 15 points.
- On the season, Vaughan has a team-high 19 steals and 12 blocked shots and is averaging 8.2 points and 5.6 rebounds a game. For her career, she has 913 points (23rd all-time at Malone) and 388 rebounds. With four rebounds this week, she will catch head coach Selana Reale and crack the top-25 on Malone's all-time rebounding list.
- In the loss to Ohio Dominican in December, freshman guard Robin Campbell scored a team-high 17 points. Through 19 games this season, she has lead the team in scoring 11 times, including seven times in the last nine games.
- On the year, Campbell is averaging a team-high 13.8 points and 5.6 rebounds. She also leads the team in assists (3.8 apg) and is tied for the team lead in steals (19). Campbell is seventh in the G-MAC in scoring, third in assists, and second in minutes (35.9 mpg).
- Junior Sydney Wentling totaled 14 points against Ohio Dominican and 12 versus Ohio Valley. On the year she is averaging 7.6 points per game and has scored at least seven points in eight of the last 10 games.
- Junior forward Ellen Doyle has scored at least seven points in nine of the last 10 and seven straight overall. On the season, she is averaging 9.1 points and 5.5 rebounds, leads the team in shooting (42.9%), and is second on the team in three-point shooting (38.2%).
- Seniors Naomi Grandison (7.6 ppg) and Paiten Strother (6.0 ppg) are both shooting 33% from three-point range and have made 24 and 21 three-pointers on the season, respectively.
- The Pioneers are coming off a 55-48 win over Davis & Elkins this past Thursday and a 64-54 win over Alderson Broaddus on Saturday. Against Alderson Broaddus, freshman forward Madison Hunter collected season-highs in both points (12) and rebounds (8).
- While Malone is next-to-last in the league in scoring offense, the defense is third in fewest points allowed and second in field goal defense.
- The Pioneers are 6-0 this season when holding opponents under 60 points and 5-0 when making at least 10 three-pointers.
- The Pioneers rank second in the G-MAC in attempted threes (490) and fourth in made threes (152). Malone is the only team in the G-MAC that has seven players with at least 14 made three-pointers.
- On the road this season, Malone is 4-6 overall and 2-5 in G-MAC games.

- The Panthers are coming off of an 0-2 week which included road losses at Cedarville (81-69) on Thursday and at Tiffin (93-79) on Saturday. ODU has lost three of its last four games overall after winning three straight to begin the month.
- Ohio Dominican ranks 12th among the 14 teams in the G-MAC in scoring defense as 14 of their 19 opponents have scored at least 70 points. The 55 points Malone scored, however, were the fewest given up by the Panthers all season.
- Junior guard Alexa Fisher tallied 21 points and six assists in the win at Malone in December. On the season, she is 5th in the G-MAC in scoring (14.0 ppg) and assists (3.7 apg).
- Sophomore guard Angela Troyer leads the team in scoring (14.4 ppg) and steals (34). Freshman guard Kennedy Schlabach, who scored a team-high 19 at Tiffin, is scoring (10.0 ppg) and ranks third in the G-MAC in made threes (50) and second in three-point shooting percentage (46.3%).
- As a team, the Panthers are third in the G-MAC in three-point shooting percentage and fifth in made threes (7.5 per game). Ohio Dominican is 6-0 when making 10 or more threes, but just 2-7 when making seven or fewer.

- Ohio Valley, which ranks 300th among 301 teams in DII in scoring margin, is coming off losses to Tiffin (108-84) and Cedarville (99-60) last week. The 84 points scored at Tiffin were the most in three seasons.
