ANCASTER, Ontario - The NCCAA has announced the recipients of All-Midwest Region Awards for the 2025-26 women's basketball season. The Malone University women's basketball team received several postseason accolades.

Head Coach
Selana Ickes repeated as NCCAA Midwest Region Coach of the Year after she led the Pioneers to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history. Malone compiled a record of 25-7, the most wins in the Division II era of Malone women's basketball. Their .781 winning percentage is the best since the 1982-83 season. Ickes also broke the career wins record this season and now sits at 143 victories.

Senior forward
Erin Kaufman was named the NCCAA Midwest Region Player of the Year and was a member on the All-Midwest Region First Team for the second straight season. Her 16.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game are good for second-best in the NCCAA Midwest Region. The Glandorf, Ohio native shot 48.1% overall, 35.6% from three-point range and 84.0% from the free throw line and led the team with 59 steals and 25 blocks. Kaufman graduates from Malone ranked fourth on the all-time scoring list with 1803 points and third in rebounds at 1020.

For the first time in her career,
Elena Oliver received Second Team All-Midwest Region honors from the NCCAA. The junior forward from Lima, Ohio was also tabbed as a Second Team All-Conference honoree in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). She was behind only Kaufman on the team at 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Oliver shot 46.0% from the field in 31 games played for the Pioneers. It is her first career NCCAA postseason award.

Ickes and Kaufman advance to the ballot of the NCCAA All-American awards with their placement on the regional teams. Further announcements will come in the near future.
