ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Malone University women's basketball team received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship. The Pioneers will compete in the Midwest Regional beginning on Friday, March 13. The First, Second and Third Round games will be hosted by Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
 
Malone opens up play against the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) regular season and tournament champions in Northwood University. That will be the first game of the day on Friday afternoon at 12:00 P.M. and the fourth meeting between these two teams this season.
