2018 G-MAC Football All-Conference Team
Pioneer senior wide receiver
Ashton Dulin was selected as both the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Special Teams Player of the Year and the G-MAC Offensive Back of the Year when the league announced its postseason football awards Friday morning.
Dulin, also the only Pioneer to receive First Team All-Conference honors, did so as both a wide receiver and return specialist. Right tackle

Ashton Dulin, a senior from Reynoldsburg, Ohio (Reynoldsburg High School), caught 61 passes for 984 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 13 times for 120 yards and another score. Dulin was fifth in the conference in receptions, second in receiving yards, and third in receiving touchdowns. He led all receivers in NCAA football (FBS, FCS, DII, or DIII) with 194.7 all-purpose yards per game.
As a special teamer, Dulin returned 28 kickoffs for 836 yards (29.9 average) and tied for the Division II lead in kickoff return touchdowns (3), scoring on returns from 89, 95, and 99 yards this season. Dulin finished the year with 1,947 all-purpose yards and 15 total touchdowns, third-most in the conference.
In his first season at Malone, redshirt junior
Matt Guevremont, a JUCO transfer (Chabot College), played every snap at right tackle. The Pickering, Ontario native helped pave the way for a Pioneer offense that averaged 397.2 yards and scored 31.2 points per game, the 6th-most in team history and the most since 2009.
Redshirt sophomore quarterback
Deandre Clayton was outstanding in his first year with the Pioneers. The Lorton, Virginia native completed 169 of 295 pass attempts (57.3%) for 2,326 yards and 16 touchdowns. On the ground, Clayton added a team-high 465 rushing yards on 139 carries and set a school record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with nine. Clayton finished third in the G-MAC in total offense (2,791 yards) and fourth in total touchdowns (25).
Sophomore slot receiver
Dakota Hobbs, of Youngstown (Ursuline High School), caught 34 passes for 544 yards (16.0 avg) and three touchdowns, finishing second on the team in both yards and touchdown catches. Hobbs added 56 yards rushing, 131 yards on kick returns, and a blocked punt.
Senior center
JD Stamper, a native of Mason, Ohio (Mason High School), anchored the offensive line where he played in over 95% of the team's offensive snaps. Behind Stamper, who also earned G-MAC All-Conference recognition in 2016, the Pioneer offense ranked third in the G-MAC in rushing (157.5 ypg).
On the defensive side of the ball, sophomore defensive end
Arrington Dulin, the younger brother of Ashton, had a breakout second season. He totaled 39 tackles, including a team-high 9.5 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks. He added two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two pass breakups.
Sophomore outside linebacker
Dawalyn Washington, a high school teammate of Hobbs at Youngstown Ursuline, finished second on the team with 72 tackles and ranked fifth in the G-MAC with 8.0 tackles per game. Washington added 4.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and an interception.
Jaylon Doss, of Copley, Ohio (Copley High School), totaled 62 tackles, including a team-high 43 solo stops. The sophomore safety added a tackle for loss, a fumble recovery, a pass breakup, and his first collegiate interception in the season finale against Walsh.
