The Malone University men's and women's track & field teams sent student-athletes to the Walsh University Invitational and the Bucknell University Bison Classic on Saturday afternoon.
Despite having only a portion of its overall team in attendance at Walsh, the Malone men still managed to place fourth among 16 squads while the Pioneer women placed eighth among 17.

Just like Taylor in the men's discus,
Michelia Tanner also broke the G-MAC discus record for the third time this year on the women's side. Tanner's third-place throw of 141' 3" was an over three-foot improvement on her previous personal-best.
Joshua Woika surpassed the G-MAC record in the high jump as he placed first with a leap of 6' 4.75" (1.95 meters).Â
At Bucknell,
Erika Rector provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in the 800 meters after finishing 13th among 124 competitors with a season-best time of 2:13.10.
