HIGH POINT, N.C. - On the second and final day of the VertKlasse Meeting, the Malone University track & field team had several performances that appeared on the program's top ten list.

Phil Stupka recorded a pair of third-place finishes in the 100-meter (10.57 seconds) and 200-meter (21.22 seconds) participate events. His mark in the 200 is the second-best in program history.
Allea Graves was also the best finisher in the 100-meter and 200-meter races on the women's side, with finishes of 15th (12.36 seconds) and 11th (24.79 seconds).

Otani Ekpe entered the top-ten list in both the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdle races. He was 11th with a time of 14.89 seconds and 2nd with a time of 54.88 seconds, both marks good for tenth all-time. In the 800-meter races,
Brooklyn McIntyre was 13th (2:20.65) and
Xander Heil was 14th (1:56.20).

The lone field participant in the top-20 was
Isabelle Perry in the shot put. Perry had a best throw of 12.35 meters (40' 6.25"), a mark that slots her eighth in the program's top-ten list.

On April 11, the Pioneers will take part in the John Homon Open and Bison Outdoor Classic in split squad action.
